Service Description
A lot of young people find it hard to manage the money they get due to lack of discipline and money management. After the session, students will have the knowledge and tools on how to plan and manage there money usage, and how to make their money work for them. Some of what we touch on may include but is not limited to, how to save, how to budget and what to spend your money on as a young person.
Cancellation Policy
Fatherhood Travel Experience – Booking Policy The Fatherhood Travel Experience is a professionally delivered, four-day development retreat for young males aged 16–21 from single-parent households. Booking a space confirms commitment to participation, safeguarding standards, and respect for the programme’s values. 1. Eligibility Bookings are accepted only for young people who meet the following criteria: Aged 16–21 From a single-parent household Referred by a parent/guardian, school, youth service, or self-referred with support Willing to engage fully in all sessions and outdoor activities Final eligibility will be confirmed during a brief pre-travel assessment. 2. Booking Process Bookings must be made via our official website or through approved referrers. A booking form must be completed with accurate medical, dietary, and emergency contact information. A confirmation email will be sent upon acceptance, along with a full itinerary and pre-departure checklist. 3. Payment A non-refundable deposit may be requested to secure your place (unless funded or referred through partner schemes). Full payment, if applicable, must be settled no later than 1 month before departure. Subsidised or funded spaces are offered subject to availability and approval. 4. Cancellation Cancellations must be made in writing at least 10 days before departure. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future programme in some cases. Cancellations within 10 days of the trip may incur full charge unless due to documented emergency. 5. Behaviour & Participation Respectful conduct is expected at all times. Full engagement in activities is required. The Fatherhood Project reserves the right to revoke a booking if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive. 6. Safeguarding & Consent All participants are covered by our safeguarding policy. Parental/guardian consent is mandatory for under-18s, and emergency procedures are clearly communicated in advance.
